Arrive at Zürich

Lucerne, and the transport museum
The covered bridge and the Lion Monument in the morning, then Switzerland's most visited museum, which is aeroplanes, trains and a planetarium.

Mount Pilatus, the golden round trip
Boat across the lake, the world's steepest cogwheel railway up at 48 per cent, and the cable car and gondola down the other side.

To Interlaken
The Express along both lakes, then an afternoon at the Interlaken adventure park with rope courses graded by age.

Grindelwald and the toboggan
The First cable car, the cliff walk out over the drop, and the Pfingstegg toboggan run — 736 metres of it, and they will want it twice.

Waterfalls inside a mountain
The Trümmelbach falls, ten glacier-fed cascades reached by a lift bored into the rock, then Lauterbrunnen and Staubbach's 300-metre drop.

West to Zermatt
The mountain crossing to a car-free village, with electric taxis from the station and the Matterhorn at the end of the street.
