Seaplane to Baa
Thirty-five minutes north in a Twin Otter, met on the jetty, and into an overwater villa with a private pool and a glass panel in the floor.

Day 2
The reef, before anyone
A guided dawn snorkel over the house reef with the resort's biologist, then breakfast brought to the deck and no plans after it.

Day 3
Hanifaru Bay, in season
Between June and October, mantas gather in Hanifaru to feed by the dozen — a permitted snorkel with a ranger aboard. Out of season, a reef safari instead.

A sandbank, and a table
The afternoon on a bare sandbank, then a table set on it at dusk with a chef, a waiter and nobody else within a kilometre.
